As we celebrate 50 years of excellence, The Springs is proud to embark on a transformative $16 million renovation of our iconic golf course. This ambitious project is designed to enhance sustainability, playability, and the overall golfing experience, ensuring our course remains a premier destination in the Coachella Valley for generations to come.
Follow the visual journey below as Holes 11 and 12 take shape throughout the renovation process.
All 18 greens are being rebuilt to USGA standards, transitioning from Bentgrass to TifTuf Bermudagrass for improved durability and year-round playability in our desert climate.
Under the guidance of renowned golf course architect Cary Bickler—who apprenticed under original designer Desmond Muirhead—the renovation includes:
Restoration of original design elements by removing 13 forced-carry bunkers.
Introduction of collection areas to offer more shot variety.
Addition of forward tees, reducing the course length to approximately 4,500 yards to accommodate players of all skill levels.
Installation of a state-of-the-art HDPE piping system with individual sprinkler control to optimize water usage and support our commitment to environmental stewardship.
Featured below are our most recent video updates, providing insight into the progress on the course.
