The Springs Woman Luncheon Series Featured in The Desert Sun

The Springs Woman's welcome back luncheon was recently featured in The Desert Sun for celebrating its 9th season as a fundraising and social club. The event, which kicks off a series of six luncheons, featured guest speakers Dennis Mori, Communications Director at The Springs, and Rosa Lucas, founding board member and CNP of Coachella Valley Volunteers in Medicine (CVVIM). 

Guests were treated to a history of The Springs Country Club and an overview of the important services that CVVIM provides to the surrounding communities, as well as a delicious lunch.

Since 2014, The Springs Woman has been the most significant outside fundraiser for CVVIM, contributing more than $150,000 to this vital medical provider in the local area. CVVIM provides zero-cost healthcare to underserved or uninsured adults in the Coachella Valley through two clinics and a Streetside Medical Program which provides weekly medical services to the unhoused population.
