The Springs Scholarship Fundraiser Featured in Coachella Valley Weekly

Coachella Valley Weekly recently highlighted The Springs 11th Annual Scholarship Luncheon to benefit The Springs Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to youth in the Coachella Valley.

The fundraiser included pickleball and golf tournaments, a private home tour, and a silent auction in addition to the luncheon. The combined events raised more than $60,000 for this important community initiative.

The Springs Scholarship Fund was founded in 2011. In 2019, the Fund partnered with Desert Community Foundation, a not-for-profit 501(c)3, to handle the vetting, investment, and reporting of the funds raised by The Springs Scholarship Committee. 

To date, eleven area students have been granted scholarships. Many recipients are the first in their families to attend college. The funds renew each year so long as the student maintains their GPA.
